Married to Danielle. She’s from Texas. You know what they about them girls from Texas? No… seriously… what do they say about them girls from Texas? Maybe I should have asked this question before the wedding. I’m joking. She’s awesome.

No children, but if catch me at the right angle, I do look pregnant.

“10 Q’s for The Crew”

1. What made you decide to join OPS?

I wanted to help and to learn. The unknown can be both frightening and interesting at the same time, and the thought of trying to find answers with an awesome team of guys while helping someone out is pretty cool.

2. Have you ever had any paranormal experiences? If so, tell us a little about one.

Yes. I once saw a man preaching to absolutely no one while in the corner of the old Oxford Wal-Mart parking (where Martin’s is now). He asked me a few questions, and I answered. I looked away for a moment, and I when I turned back he was gone. I guess I’ll never know who or what he was.

3. What's your favorite paranormal movie / TV show and why?

The Sixth Sense and The Amityville Horror. Sixth Sense because of how well the story was told, and Amityville because of the possible true events that the movie is tied to.

4. What, in your humble opinion, is your best attribute during your investigations?

Enthusiasm and diligence. I love the work and I want to get out there and find answers, and I’ll work as hard as it takes to get those answers; whether that be setting up equipment, taking pictures, doing EVP work, analyzing evidence, or going on a Krystal run!

5. There seems to be a pattern forming with the OPS team's investigations and animal encounters. Why do you think this is happening?

I think each of the animals symbolizes a member of the team. Lance is the turkey; wild, crazy, and willing to make sacrifices for the team. Dewey is the bat; quiet, elusive, waiting in the shadows to surprise you with his knowledge. I am the armadillo; usually in the wrong place at the wrong time doing the wrong thing, waiting to get run over, yet my armor protects me. Mark is the dog; because I think he has fleas.

6. What is your favorite meal to have before going out on an OPS investigation?

On the ride to each investigation I MUST have at least one peach lollipop. Without it, I cannot continue.

7. Everyone is afraid of something. So, what is your biggest fear?

Do you want to see me turn into a seven-year-old girl and pee my pants? Then, just toss a spider on me and watch the magic unfold before your very eyes. Abra-ka-dabra!

8. Aside from your OPS work, what is your favorite thing to do?

Reading and writing. The more I read, the more I learn, and the more I learn… the mooore beter i can rite. I cuold be the bestest riter evver!

9. If you could spend one night in any location in the world to conduct an OPS investigation, where would that be and why?

I’d like to spend one night in the Amityville house. Maybe it’s all just a bunch of hype and speculation, but I want to find out for myself.

10. Are there any words of wisdom or parting comments you would like to leave us with?

I’m just glad to have a ticket the OPS express. I’m not sure what it’s destination is, but where ever it’s headed - I’m on the train. And, what about the three guys I’m working with, huh? A “para” normal guys and one oddball. Heh! I’ll close with a line from the movie The Shawshank Redemption: “Get busy livin’, or get busy dyin’”. That’s right.
