Camp Cottaquilla Girl Scout camp is well known for it's wide spread stories of the one armed girl scout that terrorizes the camp and campers alike on Halloween. While we will never be granted permission to investigate this far fetched tale, I think it is safe to say that you have nothing to worry about with this bit of urban legend. Parents can feel safe and secure sending their little girls to Camp Cottaquilla to spend a weekend or week. And girls, enjoy your time here, have fun and live it up, just be girls. Remember girls, if you come across a one armed girl at Halloween and one hand is extended out to entice you with candy, breath easy, there is no way that the other arm that is no longer there could ever be holding an ax.
